Frontend Fundamentals Final Project

This is for my final project for Pirple's Frontend Fundamentals course.
I had to choose from a list of ten popular websites and recreate their homepage.
For this project I chose Instagram.

Since learning the basic html tags, the course has carried on to teach me about web page design and layout, including designing responsive websites for mobile devices.

I started by designing the narrow view first - screen sizes below 875px.

These are screenshots of the Instagram page and my page:

The Instagram page is on the left and my page on the right.

I then designed the page for screen sizes of 875 px and greater. This mainly involved adding the large mobile phone image which was hidden on smaller screen sizes.
